The Ipsos Mackay Report
Originally published as The Mackay Report, this is a continuous program of qualitative social research, established by Hugh Mackay in 1979. The project was purchased by Ipsos Australia in 2003 and was renamed The Ipsos Mackay Report. Hugh Mackay’s association with the project as research director ceased in 2006.
In the period 1979-2006, over 120 reports were published on such topics as community attitudes to politics, mass media, corporate ethics, shopping, marriage & the family, as well as studies of stages in the life-cycle, the national mood, etc.
